Panhellenic Executive Board

The Panhellenic Executive Board is made up of eight women from different chapters within the Panhellenic community. In partnership with two representatives from every chapter, they form the Panhellenic Council, which serves as the governing body for Carnegie Mellon's community. Officers of the Panhellenic Executive Board work closely with the leadership of individual chapters to improve Greek Life. Some of their responsibilities include running weekly Council meetings, hosting Formal Membership Recruitment, and organizing the continued education of sorority women on our campus. Additionally, they coordinate events internally with all Panhellenic sororities or externally with the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), as well as other organizations on campus.

For this upcoming recruitment, the Executive Board will train and direct the Recruitment Counselors, and also put together the Pre-Recruitment and Recruitment schedules from Orientation through Bid Night. These women are disaffiliated just like the Recruitment Counselors, which allows them to be completely unbiased and help you find your future sisters!

Favorite Greek Life Memory: Following the shooting, my sorority donated all of the proceeds of that week's Milk and Cookies to Tree of Life. We had a record number of orders, and our kitchen wasn't big enough to handle the demand, so we reached out to other chapters and they gladly provided us supplies and access to their kitchen! It was just so awesome to see the Panhellenic community being so supportive and coming together for a good cause, in the assistance provided and the huge number of orders. My heart was so warm that night, and it inspired me to run for Panhel!
